November 28, 2010 marked my 7th official half marathon in my favorite Brooks Adrenaline running shoes. One thing was different about this one, though: I walked it instead of running. On November 29, 2009, I ran my third half-marathon, the Seattle Marathon half (2:02:42). My first was the Kirkland Half Marathon (2:04:05) in May 2009, followed by the Rock n Roll Seattle half in June 2009. All of my runs have been done wearing my favorite Brooks Adrenaline running shoes. Brooks Adrenaline are the Best running shoe I have ever tried: they aren’t too narrow, they have nice support (and room for orthodics) and they are SO light weight!

It was difficult to train for the run due to our international business travel, and my coursework for the Master of Communication in Digital Media program at the University of Washington.

Fortunately, I had fun coworkers, Tiffany and Oona, to run with, despite the cold November weather. It is a notoriously hilly course, but we lucked out with mostly-dry weather. In previous years, there has been snow during this run!
