Conference Season!  In October 2009, I made my third visit to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport – an airport that I now know well. If you have to wait for long periods at an airport, this is a pretty good one to be stuck at. There are several nice shops where you can get all that good touristy stuff to bring home (chocolates, liquor, clogs and stroopwafels – you know, all the necessities).

En route to Casual Connect Kyiv 2009, we spent a few days in Amsterdam and visited our European game distribution office, Zylom. The office is located a train ride away from Amsterdam, in Eindhoven – The “Brainport of the Netherlands.” It was great to see the Zylom office, an open space with no cubicles, and to finally meet the team members with whom I e-mail every day, but never see. Zylom handles GameHouse’s localization and post-production services. They do an outstanding job and are very precise. If you need a game localized, come to GameHouse and Zylom!
